The police are called in to 3rd grade!!!

Okay, they were actually asked to come in to help teach about the importance of being safe on the internet.

As we begin learning about blogging and using the internet for research, it is important to understand the "how" of being safe online. We talked about what to do if we saw something that made us feel sad or uncomfortable (talk to a trusted adult), not to ever give out our names or addresses, not to ever meet "face-to-face" with anyone from the internet, and to always ask for help when we need it.

Thank you to Officer Jacobson from the Denver Police Department!

The Great American Teach-off

The Great American Teach-Off

Have you entered a teacher yet to win a $10,000 classroom grant in the Great American Teach-Off? Here's how the competition works: Nominate an outstanding teacher for kindergarten through sixth grade—it can be one you've had, your child's, or even yourself—by September 16.

We'll announce the top 10 finalists on September 21. Each teacher will record videos responding to a short list of questions and the GOOD community will vote for one teacher to receive a $10,000 classroom grant. The person with the most votes wins!
