A few reminders...

We are continuing on our CSAP journey next week on Tuesday and Wednesday for an hour each morning. Please make sure your child is well rested and filled with a yummy, nutritious breakfast each of those days. We will also be providing snack as our first order of the day.

If you are willing or able to provide some of those morning snacks, we would be forever grateful! Some ideas for snacks are clementine oranges, cheese sticks, go-gurts, bananas, pretzels, etc...

sickness!!!!

We have lots of sicknesses going around and around!!!! We have had confirmed strep in several students AND confirmed flu. Sickness is running rampant throughout the school.

Please please please keep your child home if they present with a fever 100 degrees or more. They need to be out of school until they are fever free for 24 hours.

Social Studies

In case you haven’t head yet, we have begun our Viking unit, which has caused some excitement. This study will be assessed in 3 ways. They are drawing and writing about Vikings in a photo album. They were told that if they fall behind they can work on this at home. Viking campfire stories are another way that they will be assessed and this will be an at home assignment. Finally they will have a short quiz at the end of the unit. The study guide will come home as we get closer to the test date.
